VERANDA’s Art of Design Award program is designed to discover and showcase the work and workmanship of emerging artisans and designers. Through this year’s theme, “Redefining Luxury”, VERANDA has shown how characteristics such as craft, innovation, authenticity, value and social responsibility contribute to today’s definition of luxury.

VERANDA editors and a committee of designers and artisans nominated people or companies whose work represents the art of design and today’s definition of luxury. VERANDA documented “a day in the life” of each of the four winners in a short film, which will premiere at DCOTA on March 11.

Documentary preview and panel discussion on how luxury is being redefined in today’s marketplace. Moderated by Editor-at-Large, Carolyn Englefield, panelists include, Art of Design award winner, Anthony Cochoran of Q Collection, designers Campion Platt, Jennifer Garrigues and Jack Fhillips. Breakfast will be served.
