The group discussed the Ankasa Iconic Collection, an extraordinary set of highly original embroideries and jacquards, which is now available in the showroom.
The Robert Allen | Beacon Hill brand is known for creating captivating and original design, and they have translated Ankasa’s unique look to fabric by the yard, producing rich textures, intricate embroidery and use of their signature color palette.
So how was the collection created?
Alexis Audette, Operating Vice President of Design for Beacon Hill, worked with Sachin and Babi Ankasa and other trusted fabric artisans from around the world.
The embroideries were found in India while the jacquards came from France and Italy and the linens were sourced from Belguim.
“Every artisan technique in the collection adds a new and unique dimension to the textile surface - from the Arri and Couching embroidery to the Chatai stitching, we have developed a collection of surface depth and interest," said Alexis.
