We stopped by the Sonia's Place Showroom in the DDB last week to meet with Co-Owner Michael H. Lurie, and check out what has been going on this season.
We learned of a newly added staff member who's taking the Sonia's Place directly to the libraries of architects & designers, as well as a fabulous collection of faux fur fabrics that you don't want to miss.
"Steven Chaiken has been a sparkling new addition to the staff of Sonia’s Place," said Michael. "He's been keeping their libraries up to date with some of the latest and finest new creations in fabric and wallcovering and matching them to the needs of the project at hand."
And now — he's doing the same for Sonia's Place.
So what about the faux furs?
Sonia's Place is home to some of the finest "faux furs" available to the trade. These furs are just the beginning of a look into the most extensive library of wallcoverings & fabrics in the DDB.
Take a look at some of them:
"Faux Leathers are another example of a unique collection used as much for plush wallcovering applications as very durable furniture upholstery," said Michael.
Here's a short list of what you can find at Sonia's Place: silk fabric & silk wallcovering, suede fabric & suede wallcovering, linen fabric & linen wallcovering, mohair fabric, velvet fabric, embroidered wallcovering, handscreened wallcovering, custom coordinate wallcovering, children’s wallcovering, coordinate fabrics and contract vinyl wallcovering.
Stop by the showroom, Suite 1001 in the DDB and let Co-Owner Joy Lurie and her staff show you around. Or, call Steven for an appointment.
