The showroom is Knoll’s first furniture showroom featuring distinctive residential and outdoor designs from Knoll|Stuido. The new showroom occupies the former home of Richard Schultz Design, which was acquired by Knoll in March of this year.
We had a chance to talk with Mark Skerik, Senior Marketing Director, who is nothing less of thrilled to be in the building.
He told us that they have a showroom in NYC which is available to both A&D firms and the public but is not easily accessible, which makes this entrance into the DDB that much more exciting for them.
“We are thrilled at the opportunity to enter the D&D building,” he said. “The luxury market has always been of interest for Knoll products. Many of our collections have been found in elegant residences and also corporate settings, so our approach is really to bridge the two.”
Something to note about the showroom:
There will be a “veranda” space, an area that is dedicated solely to outdoor living and will be available to designers year round.
